Marilyn

The early death of Marilyn Monroe at the age of only 36 moved and inspired me to paint her. Marilyn Monroe was one of the most famous and most photographed women in the world at the time.  Perhaps she is now one of the most painted ? She was never able to completely free herself from her image of the naive, inexperienced, attractive blonde. Only after her death was her performance as an actress recognized by critics.
